The original D. B. Cooper is a legend. THIS D. B. Cooper could be a legend. Cooper is a sweet puppy. He is happy and loving and very excited and playful. Cooper is actually ALWAYS happy.

Lost and wandering the streets, Cooper was underweight and sick when the shelter caught him. He was happy and his tail was wagging. Found as a stray, he did his time, having "two hots and a cot." He was in a 3 foot by five foot kennel with a cement floor, no heating, and no yard. His tail still wagged. Obviously not a convict and WAY too good looking and sweet to stay incarcerated, D. B. was bailed out and brought into rescue.

A purebred boxer with a tail, DB is a classic "au natural" boxer. One of the reasons that DB is so happy all the time and in all situations is because he has never heard a discouraging word - literally.

D. B. Cooper is was is called a "lethal white" - a very scary name for a very common occurrence. Approximately 25% of all boxers are born white. Out of those boxers, 20% of them are born deaf. That's about 1 boxer in every hundred. Cooper is a deaf, white boxer.

Don't let his lack of hearing throw you off. DB doesn't know there is anything wrong with him - no one has told him!

Boxers and Buddies has a GREAT trainer for hearing impaired dogs that has two deaf adopted dogs of her own - so there is NOTHING to worry about. D. B. will be happy to have a home that loves him and deserves him. He is a wonderful dog.
