Step 1: Find a dog you're interested in. Browse our available dogs as well as the available dogs in our parent rescue, Boxer Rescue LA

Adoption Requirements:

• You must be 21 years of age

• All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information)

• We do not place female boxers with other female dogs

• We do not adopt out dogs as gifts

• All pets are family companions!

Step 2: Fill out the on-line application. This preliminary application gives us basic information regarding you, your family and your home, so we can help match you to the right dog.

Step 3: Wait to hear back from a volunteer. Remember - all of our staff are volunteers. We do our best to review your application with you within 48 hours, however, there are occasional emergencies, set-backs and other obsticles in our way. Please be patient - we WILL contact you

Step 4: Meet the dog. If your application matches the dog you're interested in, we will set up a time for you to come meet your potential new family member.

Step 5: Homecheck: We want to make sure our dogs are entering an enviornment that is safe and secure, and that all members of the family are ready and eager for this new responsibility. We also want to make sure the dog you have chosen gets along well with your current family members - both human and other pets.
