Hi!

My name is Xyla. I am a good, sweet dog but need a dog owner that is familiar with Boxers.

Since I've been at Boxers and Buddies I have learned A LOT! My roommate is a white boxer named Chance and I love him! We never get into fights or scuffles. I have met a couple other boy boxers and love all of them too.

I will probably do best in a home as the only dog or with a neutered male as my boyfriend.

I had a bad history that wasn't really my fault. My old owner passed away and I was brought to a new home. My new home didn't know that female boxers don't get along with each other. They put me with another girl and we got in a fight.

Then they bought a puppy and left me alone with it. I snapped at the puppy and bit it when it tried to take my food. My owners called a trainer that works with Boxers and she asked them to please e-mail her to get some information about having two dogs. They didn't and left the puppy alone in a room with me and my food and left the house.

I didn't mean to hurt the puppy, but anyone who knows anything about dogs knows that your don't leave two strange dogs alone together with a bowl of food. Especially when I already told the puppy once that it was MY food and to leave it alone!

I didn't know any better but now I do! I am a smart dog and eager to learn. I am VERY affectionate and love people of all ages. Everyone makes mistakes - even dogs. Please give me a chance to show you how wonderful I can be!

I really just want a home of my own.

Love,

Xyla
