I just got your message from Melissa checking on Whylie...He is wonderful!  Healthy at 75lbs and our other boxer, Chloe's best buddie!

He and Chloe sleep in a big chair in our bedroom, take runs and give us lots of love!  We are SOOOO happy we adopted him!  If we lived on a farm, we would have two more!

I've attached a few pictures!  Thanks for checking in!

Wilhe is a very special boy. He was running the streets as a stray for several months. He thwarted every attempt at capture and Animal Control was concerned about his well being.

Another animal lover was concerned about his well-being too - and set about helping Wilhe anyway she could. She felt bad that Wilhe was a stray and skinny, so she began to leave food out for him on her porch. When she would go out there, Wilhe would run away.

She finally set food in her house and lured Wilhe into the house with some food- then shut the door behind him./ While they were waiting for Animal Control to arrive, Wilhe made himself at home with her dogs bone and bed!

Wilhe is doing well at Boxers and Buddies. He loves other dogs and likes to play. He is still a little nervous

around humans, loud noises and fast movements. With time, he's becoming desensitized to these things and learning not to bolt away and hide. He is a great dog around people- happy, playful and affectionate. There isn't a mean bone in Wilhe's body.

If you think that you can provide Wilhe a home that he will never run away from, please fill out an adoption application!
