Adoption Requirements: • You must be 21 years of age • All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information) • We do not place female boxers with other female dogs • Attendance at a professionally run obedience course is a requirement of adoption! • We do not adopt out dogs as gifts • All pets are family companions! |

4/22/08 Trance died today. He kepty getting skinnier and skinnier. He was eating 5 cups dry food a day plus 2 cups cottage cheese. Up until yesterday he was happy, playful puppy. He just kept getting skinnier. He looked like an abuse case. Then, he stopped playing. He stopped eating. It was time. The vet did an autopsy - Trance's pancreas was a tenth of the size it should have been. He never would have made it. Trance is in a better place now. He isn't suffering anymore. |

4/15/08 Medical Update: Trance is still pretty and he is a VERY sweet and loving boy. However, Trance has a medical issue right now. No matter how much he eats, he is not gaining any weight. We have run blood work and fecal samples to no avail. No one seems to know why Trance can't keep the weight on! The next possible solution is a biopsy, unfortunately, Trance is too underweight to be able to withstand the stress of surgery and to heal properly. We're currently trying different food to see if there maybe a different protien sourse that he will respond to. We hope that this boy can pull through and once again be healthy, happy and ready for his forever home.

02/24/08 Trance is so pretty you may fall in a stupor just staring at him. His coloring is unusual – a light silvery fawn color. The white band around his neck frames a little spot of color perfectly – this little guy will turn heads wherever you go. A lab/AKC mix (All Kinds Combined), Trance is a puppy – he was born December 23rd. Because he is a puppy, he needs to be housebroken, go through training classes and learn appropriate behaviors. The cool thing about puppies is they are yours to mold – you can socialize them and make them everything you imagine. The bad thing about puppies is that if you don’t take the time to raise them right, you have no one to blame but yourself. |
