Tortilla or “Tia” is Guac’s mother. As is often the case these days, Tia was a “teen” mother. She wasn’t even a year old when she gave birth to little Guac. Now just over a year old herself, she and her daughter were surrendered to the shelter when the family realized they had a problem with their skin and didn’t feel like getting them treatment. Tia is currently getting the vet care that she needs to get her healthy and pretty coat back.
Tia has a very winning personality. She is sweet and loving. She is also VERY protective of her territory and people – barking at all intruders – 2 and 4 legged! At a little over 7 pounds, she is not very threatening. Because she is so tiny and frail, she is not the appropriate family member for a family with children under 13 years old – a child tripping over, dropping or laying on little Tia could kill her and we don’t want her to have to take any more chances in her already traumatic little life.
I'm interested in Tia
