Update 11/30/07

Tahiti (now Amaya), uh-my-ah, is doing great!  She loves Chino (pictured).  She runs and runs in the back yard and is actually getting our other two dogs to exercise, just like we planned.  She is in heaven and is getting spoiled.  She is well behaved and loves to play with everyone.  We love her so much already.  There is the one negative that we are working on – house training.  That’s it, she has great overall manners.  I did have a question – do you know when she had her surgery if any of her intestines had been removed?  I ask this because this dog unbelievably poops A LOT.  Haha – in the house, outside, morning, day, middle of the night, doesn’t matter.  Just curious.

Please use this picture for your success stories on your website.  I will send an better one with everyone when I can.

Thanks again,

Dan

Tahiti is the sweetest little girl. She was found as a stray with a prolapsed uterus - this means that her uterus was hanging out her rear end.

Because of this complication, she would have been humanely euthanized unless an interested party stepped forward. Of COURSE we would take this wonderful girl!

Tahiti immediately went into surgery - her uterus was put back the right way - and then removed as part of her spay.

Happy, sweet, and a little shy, Tahiti is looking for her new family. Could this be you?

Tahiti would do best, well, any where - she's a great dog that deserves a second chance at a perfect life.
