Spike is a beautiful year old white boxer. He is happy and friendly and LOVES human attention.Poor Spike was kept as an outside dog . As anyone who knows boxers will tell you, that is a BAD idea, boxers are LAP dogs, not YARD dogs. So, Spike, bored and lonely, made regular escapes from his yard to get some excitement and human interaction.

His owners bailed him out of the shelter a couple times, then it seems they just gave up on him. Rather than play with him, bring him inside, or get him training , they just abandoned him in the shelter.

Spike is in a much better place now, he is crate trained and getting obedience training and puppy manners, Spike now needs a forever home and a family to call his own.

Being a puppy, Spike will need more training - but he also needs someone who loves him for himself - not for a yard decoration.

I'm interested in Spike
