Sierra is a purebred brindle boxer that was surrendered to us by her owners.
They had had her since she was a pup, but their hectic schedules and growing family took time away from Sierra. She started jumping the fence or digging out to find the attention that was missing at home.
Fearful of her safety and midful of her needs, her family re-homed her last year. She was doing great and minding her fenced bounderies with plenty of love and attention... until one day she was bit by a rattlesnake. The snake bit her 3 times in the neck and the prognosis was grim. The family contacted the original owners with a message, "Take her back or we're putting her to sleep." They couldn't afford the cost of the medical treatment for the bite wounds.
The family took her back and miraculously, Sierra recovered completely.
Now she's back to her same old tricks - running away to find someone to love her. She is a great family dog and has a personality all her own. She is very energetic, house broken, and very well tempered. She has lived with a 2yr old who plays with Sierra all day - pulling her ears and pushing her around with not one problem ever. She has never had a temperment problem and is great with everyone. She will make somone a good dog for sure.
I'm interested in Sierra
