Scout was originally turned in to Boxers and Buddies when he was 11 months old. He was adopted out into what we had hoped was his "Forever" home.

Unfortunately for Scout - his new owners had a change in lifestyle - leaving their dogs home while traveling extensively. The dogs became neglected and need to be relocated. Scout (and his adopted brother Sinclair) were brought to Boxers and Buddies.

When they arrived they were emaciated, their fur falling out in huge chunks and nervous and scared in their new environment.

Scout is adjusting well, he loves other dogs and is friendly and playful. Unfortunately, Scout has developed hip displasia. This lifelong condition can be managed without surgery, but the cold, concrete floors of the kennel make his condition worse. We would love to get Scout out of Boxers and Buddies and into a home environment where he will be loved forever.

Due to his medical condition and his need for a loving home, we're asking that Scout's adoption fee be whatever his potential adopters can afford to donate. Scout needs a home - please help!

I'm interested in Scout
