Schnapps has taken to the house quite well, her tummy is still a bit upset but with cottage cheese and pumpkin she is doing much better. We have changed her name to Salty, because the kids kept call her shnotty. I believe she has OCD because when ever she is let out of her kennel or back inside she has to sniff every door and touch every piece of furniture. She has made us laugh so much this weekend. UPDATE: 10/17/08 Schnapps is an amazing dog. She has been in her foster home for 2 months now. She is sweet and comical. She is already housebroken and crate trained (although she will whine in her crate if she thinks that she's missing something fun) She LOVES to play with the 5 other dogs in the house. She loves water and her favorite time is playing at the lake. She is good with her off-leash recall. She would love an active household and she currently goes to dog daycare (www.dogz-inc.com) a couple times a week. The socialization is really good for her. She could still use formal obedience training - her leash manners are terrible. She really is a sweet dog and just wants a forever home with someone to love her!
