I just wanted to let you know that it's been over a month now since we've taken Sadie home and she is doing wonderfully!!. She just may be the perfect dog!! lol.....well, for us anyway. Some good news is that a couple of weeks ago she broke out of her crate while we were away and she did just fine. My couch was intact!!, nothing was chewed up, and I'm pretty sure she was sleeping on her little bed when we walked in. I know she tried top get to a chocolate cake (unfrosted) I had on the counter because there were little pieces of foil broken. Luckily, it was pushed back far enough she couldn't reach it. I don't know what would have been worse. Sadie eating chocolate or foil!!! Even the cat was fine. Of course, she's still in hiding, but we're working on that and it remains a challenge. I'm patient. Whatever the case, I feel entirely lucky as I KNOW it could have been disastrous and much, much worse.     She's eating well and putting on weight nicely. She's well mannered and LOVES to play. Mostly, she's a cuddly kind of pup and we just love her to death.     Honest and truly she is a fabulous dog and I can hardly remember our life with out her. Thank you so much for letting us meet her and giving us the chance to take her home and love her. I think we're a perfect match. She even tolerates my Gillian!!!! That says a lot for Sadie as Gillian can be a handfull!! I think we'll keep them both...lol....   bye for now,       Wendy
