You may think that Ritalin got her name because she's hyper and jumpy and out of control. You would be Partially right. Ritalin IS very energetic. She needs lots of exercise and interactions. But she is very eager to please and a quick learner. Ritalin would benefit from an obedience course. She loves to learn new things.

Being a boxer/english bulldog mix is better than being a purebred. Hopefully she will miss the health issues associated with purebred bulldogs. Because both breeds are short haired and short muzzled she won't do well in extreme temperatures for long periods.

Ritalin is not doing well in the kennel. She doesn't get the attention or exercise she needs, so when people meet her they're overwhelmed by her energy.

If you have other dogs that love to play, Ritalin would be a great playmate. She does well with dog friendly and dog familiar cats - but if the cat runs or antagonizes her she will go after it.

If you're looking for an energetic dog that wants to please and wants to play consider Ritalin. Maybe once she has a loving home her name could be changed to Prozac!
