Adoption Requirements: • You must b 21 years of age • All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information) • We do not place female boxers with other female dogs • Attendance at a professionally run obedience course is a requirement of adoption! • We do not adopt out dogs as gifts • All pets are family companions! |

Every once in a while, we stumble across a dog that totally surprises us and takes us off guard. Reef is that dog. We went to the shelter to pick up another dog, when we saw Reef, we had no intention of taking her too. Then we met her... Surprise! She was so sweet that she couldn't stay there to be euthanized. Into the car she went. Being a puppy we thought for sure her transisitrion would be a slow one, she would be intimidated by the other dogs and need lots of time before she relaxed. Surprise! She jumped right into the pen and started playing. We went to an adoption event and thought for sure that this well behaved, sweet, well-mannered and adorable little girl would be snapped up right away.Surprise... we sat and watched as dog by dog got adopted and poor little Reef waited in vain for a family to love her. |
