Update: December 29th, 2009

Hi Sarah, and all my friends at Dogz, inc.,

Well who would know that my real name is Honey,  I know this because my new mom told me and she has treats, so she must be right.

Ely is really cold and when we got home the heater was broke.  We stayed warm under blankets and near space heaters.  I cuddled with Austin and did a little reading.  The furnace was repaired and now I can run around the house all day.  Penny and I keep and eye on the front walk to let everyone know if we get company. Dad is home all day and so is my new sister Penny.

Penny has introduced me to fence patrol and I help her tell Dad its time for us to come back in once we know the yard is safe.  Once or twice a day we make sure no cars or dogs or people are coming in the yard.

I am gaining weight and if I do say so myself I think my coat is getting shiny.  I have an appointment for a bath and  manicure on the 31st.  Just in time for New Years Partying.  Mom says this household sleeps till midnight, wakes and says Happy New year and then sleeps til morning,  sounds great to me.

Well I'll write more later, you all have a wonderful Christmas, I know I will.

                             Love, Honey Steinauer    (Ohana)

In Hawaiian "Ohana" means family. It emphasizes that family are bound together and members must cooperate and remember one another.

Ohana wasn't so lucky. Her family abandoned and forgot her.

It amazes us that anyone would leave behind such a wonderful amazing girl. She is lovable, charming and adorable. Who can resist that beautiful mushy boxer face and those soulful eyes?

Ohana is a senior, but as we all know, "senior" is in the eye of the beholder. She may be 6, but she acts two.

Ohana is an amazing dog, she deserves a family that can show her what Ohana means. It means love each other, stick together, and no one gets left behind.

I'm interested in Ohana

Cat Test Notes: 6/26/09

Ohana didn't really show any interest in the cat. She didn't care if it was up high or on the ground, running or still. She basically ignored it the entire time.
