Adoption Requirements: • You must be 21 years of age • All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information) • We do not place female boxers with other female dogs • Attendance at a professionally run obedience course is a requirement of adoption! • We do not adopt out dogs as gifts • All pets are family companions! |
Sometimes I'm not sure why people have dogs. Oahu was left in the backyard to be a baby-making machine. I'm sure he made gorgeous puppies. I'm sure he made his owners a lot of money, selling his puppies at $500 a piece. But Oahu had nothing - no love, no manners, no training, no interactions, and no real home. Oahu is learning to be the dog he always should have been. He is learning to play and love and relax. There will be no more babies for Oahu. He did his job and has earned the right to relax. If you think your family is ready for a loving family member that may need a little polish to see the shine, please consider adopting Oahu. He is a handsome boy that deserves the best things in life: love, home and a family. |

Cat Test Notes: 6/26/09 Oahu made a bee line for the crated cat and immediately tried to attack it. He was fighting at the leash lunging towards the cat with intent to harm. He had to be physically pulled from the room. |
