Adoption Requirements: • You must be 21 years of age • All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information) • We do not place female boxers with other female dogs • Attendance at a professionally run obedience course is a requirement of adoption! • We do not adopt out dogs as gifts • All pets are family companions! |
Mayberry is a sweet senior dog. She is one of the reasons we HAVE a boxer rescue. I hate it when people can love a dog until it gets old then ditch it in the shelter rather than deal with the difficulties of an aging dog. Mayberry is too good to be abandoned. She loves people and is happy go lucky despite being homeless. She is healthy, happy and energetic. She may be a senior, but she is an athletic senior - not a nursing home senior. Mayberry would love a home with a comfy dog bed just for her. |
