Update 12/9/06
Katrina is settling in well to her new home. Her family has sent us some picture updates of her new existence. Katrina is well loved and spoiled rotten - just as all "vicious" pit bulls should be...

Mamba - now "Katrina"

American Staffordshire

Age: 3

Size: Large (60lbs)

Gender: Female

Dogs: Some

Kids: Older

Cats: No

Mamba came to us from Best Friends Animal Rescue through their Hurricane Katrina rehabilitation program. Mamba and several other dogs were housed in a Las Vegas kennel for months - getting only one walk a week and no other interactions. Best Friends found trainers to come to rescue and rehabilitate these dogs - getting them used to people again as well as trained.

Because of her history, Mamba's new family decided to re-name her "Katrina". She is healthy and happy in a home with plenty of room and another dog to play with.
