Major General is absolutely gorgeous. He is a beautiful boxer boy. It is amazing to us that someone would turn him into the shelter.

Major General was left untended in the yard for most of the time. Being a typical boxer, he wasn't happy with that situation and would jump the 6 foot fence and wander the neighborhood. As nice as Major is, if you didn't know him he does look very intimidating. Neighbors were scared of him and Major was reported to animal control on more than one occasion. The family was tired of paying the fees to bail him out.

Major is getting lots of attention and interaction where he is now. With human contact and attention, Major has not even attempted to jump the 4 foot fences around his current enclosure.

Major wants love and attention and affection. If you have extra to give, please consider Major.

I'm interested in Major General

1/10/10 Cat Test Results:

The cat didn't run - stood its ground and growled so we don't know how he would do with a bolting cat - he may chase it. The cat was growling and hissing. He walked up to the growling cat, sniffed it, then walked away. He didn't show any fixation behaviors.
