Hi, Lexie just came home and is getting to know her new home. She is enjoying her new brothers Ace and Kato. Lexie loves the cool green grass and all the shade trees to stay cool on these hot days.

Adoption Requirements:

• You must be 21 years of age

• All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information)

• We do not place female boxers with other female dogs

• Attendance at a professionally run obedience course is a requirement of adoption!

• We do not adopt out dogs as gifts

• All pets are family companions!

I think of Lexie all the time. I will be volunteering with my daughter Marcy Johnson for one of your fundraisers in about a week and a half. Marcy is remodelling her house and their dog run is being moved. Right now I have her female boxer Cheyenne and her male boxer Rocco who she adopted from you staying here with us. We have our old boy Kato and Ace (our elderly boxer from you) and I know you don't like female boxers with another female dog. I don't know exactly how long this remodel will take but as soon as my granddoggies can go back home to their own home I want to introduce Ace and Kato to her to see if she can handle being with them. We really want a female to go with our old boys. We will be seeing you soon so maybe we can talk more about it then.

Lab/Chow Mix

Age: 6 years

Gender: Female

Dogs: Some

Kids: Yes

Cats: No

Lexie is a sweet, mellow lab mix. She likes to hang out, relax and enjoy life. She is well behaved and will sit and give paw.

Lexie is used to an outdoor lifestyle and has a nice thick coat to keep her warm on those early morning hikes or mountain treks.

She is protective and will bark at intruders on your property. She is the perfect guard dog- intimidating but really a big fluffy marshmallow.

Lexie was the result of a divorce - unceremoniously abandon from the only home she's ever known. She seems to adjust quickly and easily to new situations. She isn't an excessive barker, she doesn't jump up, she just wants to be loved.

Is there room in your heart and home for Lexie?
