Kermit (named after the Frog, even though he's a dog) says it might not be easy being green, but finding the right home is infinitely more difficult. Kermit came to Boxers and Buddies from an extremely high kill shelter the day before his euthanasia. It was January 4th, 2009. Since that time no one has even looked into adopting him. Kermit is scared and nervous - it takes a special person to come and meet with him a couple times to gain his trust prior to adopting. Most adopters want the perfect dog - and Kermit isn't that. He is small and easily intimidated by loud noises and quick movements. He would not be appropriate for loud raucous homes or homes where small children live or visit. He does great with most other dogs, but some people scare him. He would make a great lap dog for a calm and quiet home. He knows what he's looking for in a home.
