Attached are pictures of Jordan with his summer cut.  Now he really looks like Emma.  And the shedding has reduced dramatically.  I may keep him like this all the time.  We start training on Sunday.  He has been doing better.   We started crateing him at night.  It works much better.  Any advice or tips on that.  I have never done it before.  I take him outside to pee before we go to bed and then put him in his kennel.  I have a pillow in there as well as a pad on the floor of the kennel.  We bought him a large one.  And when we wake up - we let him out to pee and then take them for a walk.  Is this right?    Thanks a bunch and have a wonderful 4th.    PS - I saw on the website that Jordan is now there with Emma and Dave.  And that you have been really busy with adoptions.  Keep up the great work!!!

April 30th

We had a pretty good weekend.  Jordan seems to be overcoming some of the anxiety issues he was having (heavy breathing and nervousness) - God bless the pheremone plug in and collar.  There are one or two things I have a concern about and don't know if they will take care of themselves in time or if we need assistance.

1.  Biting - when Jordan and Emma are playing he bites her.  She bites him too - but doesn't seem to actually bite.  Emma has bite marks on her chin and legs (about three on her legs and three or four on her neck and chin) and Dave is a little concerned about it.  I have yet to find any on Jordan.  They can play pretty rough and tumble.  I know that when he gets really excited he will bite my arm (kind of like a nip) - but I don't think he knows he is doing it.  He will also bite his leg.  How can we stop this - training or time or both.

2.  The cat - he still seems to want to eat the cat - sometimes.  I am sure if given the choice he would eat the cat.  But then there are times when he just seems to want to know what Schmee is.  Emma will chase Schmee and he will play with her and bat at her face.  But Jordan I am unsure about.

Thanks a bunch.

A very odd mixed breed, with a heart made of gold.  Jordan had a home and was loved.  His owners did everything they could to keep him.  Jordan became too expensive for them and they wanted the best for him, so he was turned into us.  He is a large, well mannered puppy with one quest in life, to have his forever home with lots of toys and children to play with.  Is that too much to ask for?

I'm interested in Jordan
