Joey was found wandering the streets as a stray with a severe wound on his back leg. The wound looked like and was treated as a dog bite. The shelter workers were so enamored by little Joey and his outgoing personality, they kept pushing his date back and back, choosing instead to have him loose in their offices, an ambassador of good will to all who entered.

Joey may have been a shelter favorite, but the gig was up and so was Joey's final chance. Boxers and Buddies was called in to help Joey cheat death one more time- and boy are we glad we did!

Joey is sweet and loving. He is well-behaved and, as far as we can guess, a welsh corgi/queensland heeler mix.

Joey would LOVE to be part of an active family with kids, but would do well in an adults only household as well.

What Joey really want is to be loved and part of someone's family.
