Here are a couple of pictures of Delling (formerly Jinx) that I thought you might enjoy. He's adapting well after only a week... He's now giving kisses and engages in about 30 seconds of play... he mostly just wants to be loved. I apologize if this is a duplicate email... I tried to send the pictures from my phone but I don't think they were actually sent. Please let me know where the classes will be held in the Northwest and what I need to do to register... I have a friend that would like to take her beagle. Thanks again... Gigi

Don’t let Jinx’s name throw you off – there is nothing about this little guy that says “bad luck” other than his past history. When Jinx was brought into the shelter, his ears and head bore the marks of a pretty severe attack. The wounds had been shaved and treated, then poor Jinx was abandon as a stray. Maybe the family’s other dog attacked Jinx and they felt he was better off fending for himself in the streets.  Perhaps Jinx was supposed to be a “fighter” only to be abandoned and betrayed by his natural boxer gentle nature.

We will never know what caused Jinx to end up in the shelter, but we do know that he deserves better than whatever it was that caused him to lose his home. This little boxer boy is begging for approval. Every move he makes is with an air of caution and fear. We would love to see Jinx love life and live with the happiness and joy that defines the boxer breed. It breaks our hearts to see the uncertainty in his eyes.

Please provide Jinx with the love, obedience to build his confidence and gentle guidance to bring out the true puppy hiding inside of him.
