DNA Test Results!

Jax is officially:

Jax is the coolest dog ever!

Ok, maybe its an exaggeration, but that depends on your point of view. Jax is housebroken, crate trained, good with kids and other dogs. You can leave him home alone and he won't tear things up or get into anything. He is playful and LOVES to go on hikes and walks.

DNA RESULTS:

20 - 35%   Boxer

20 - 35%   St. Bernard

10 - 19%   Cocker Spanial

10 - 19%   Collie

10 - 19%   Poodle

less 10%   Chihuahua

He is obedience trained, but could use a refresher course.

Jax loves water and will play in it, lay in it and swim his little heart out. Playing with other dogs keeps him busy and entertained for hours. He does well with most other dogs, but can overwhelm some dogs and doesn't like it when they snap at him. He currently lives with 12 other dogs: from a miniture poodle to a great dane. He loves them all, but too many dogs can overwhelm him and dog parks may not be right for him, although he does go to doggie day care and seems to do fine there. Jax is NOT good with cats or other small animals. He can clear 6 foot fences and doesn't like to be left outside for long periods of time. He loves to ride in the car and sleep in the bed.

Toys of all kinds are some of Jax favorite things. He does tend to destroy them by chewing them up, but he never tears up things that aren't his. Jax has no health issues that we have observed. He is happy and healthy and sweet.

Jax December 22, 2009

Jax in his foster home, December 22, 2009

When Jax gets lonesome he cries the most heart-wrenching howl, but luckily its not too loud or too often - he's quieter when the TV is on. He doesn't seem to care what channel.

Jax was adopted out from Boxers and Buddies in June of 2007. His name at that time was Voltron. His new family  renamed him Jax, took him to obedience and loved him. Then they had a new baby.

The newborn seemed to be allergic to Jax and the family was forced to return him to Boxers and Buddies in July of 2009.

Since July, Jax has been in two different foster home environments, thriving in both.

Jax deserves a home and a family of his own. He deserves people that will love him and treat him well.

Are you looking for a wonderful dog to be part of your wonderful home? Look no further than Jax.

Welcom to Voltron - the puppy of all puppies. He plays, he snuggles, he is patty trained!!

Voltron is an awesome puppy and he will make the perfect dog - if you have dogs already or is this will be your first - please consider Voltron as the new addition to your family.

We would prefer him to be an apartment dog, because Voltron does have one drawback - he climbs fences - yes - CLIMBS fences. voltron loves people so much he will scale a fence to find you - we should have named him Spiderman instead.
