Update: 11/05/06 WE LOVE FRANKLIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do not understand how anyone in their right minds could not want that dog!!!!! He is the sweetest, kindest, most gentle boy I have ever known. He gets 2 runs a day and TONS of love. and my Mom pointed out that my son is Benjamin, and our dog is Franklin, so it must be meant to be. He's wagging his tail a lot more now. And none of the neighbors have heard him bark during the day. I think he likes his new home. He is a food SLUT though. I can't believe how high and far back on the counters he can reach!!!!!!! Please know he is truly loved!!!!!! We'll see you Sunday!!!! Tina |

My name is Franklin and I am a Chocolate Labrador Retriever. I am typical Lab and enjoy a lot of exercise and play time. I just loves to run, swim, hike and go for walks. I'm pretty smart and know my basic obedience commands. I'm housebroken and I walk nicely on a leash and I will sit, stay and lay down when you tell me too. My ideal home would have kids of all ages. I'd love for there to be other dogs in the house to play with, or at least friendly neighbor dogs or maybe a dog park nearby. When I am left alone I prefer to be left in my crate inside the house. I don't like being left outside in the yard or a dog run. It makes me nervous and I don't want to bark and chew things accidentally. Please come meet me - I promise that I am a good dog. I just want to know what it's like to be loved. |
