Hi Sarah and Becky:

Just to let you know how Daisy is doing.  The ride home from Reno on Saturday went great.  Daisy rides in the car good.  We stopped to get gas and give her a walking break in Verdi and Truckee and then in Colfax.

When I got to my house she went into the backyard and got use to all the new smells and environment.  I spent the rest of the day just quietly sitting with her in and out of the house.  She slept in the house that evening and only got up once to go outside and relieve herself.  SHE IS JUST A WONDERFUL DOG.

Sunday, I noticed her coughing a lot, and realized it was Kennel Cough.  On Monday I took her to my vet to have her examined got antibiotics and cough tabs for her.  After a day of the antibiotics and 1 cough tab she was on the road to recovery.  I will be finished with her antibiotics in approximately 5 more days.  She was also tested for heartworm, etc. and that came out negative and has already had her first heartworm tablet for this month.

I have been working daily with her on obedience training but she is just perfect.  She has gone on my early morning Weekend 5 mile walks, heeled no problem, is courteous with other people and dogs, my two friends go with me and she was great with them and others in passing.

Her stay, sit  and lay down commands she does great.  I have had her with me in my garage and she stays right in my garage near me and does not venture off the property line.

I have been leaving her in my house for approximately 3 to 3 1/2 hours at a time and she does great.  Is not destructive and is always so happy when I come home.  I COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER PET AND COMPANION.  THANK YOU SO MUCH.

This pocket boxer has a face that will surely win you over as with any female boxer, she’s a bit bossy, yet she is very gentle and kind.  She knows her basic commands and she’s potty trained.  Daisy loves being around people and will follow you wherever you go.  However, there is one problem, she doesn’t have a home.  Will you give Daisy the love and companionship she’s always wanted?
