Clove was born on February 11th, 2009. Clove was one of 9 puppies in his litter. The puppies were born to his mom, Spice, on a stranger’s porch and quickly relocated to the Elko shelter where the pups lived for 3 weeks before coming to Boxers and Buddies. Now safe and in a foster home, the pups have been handled every day by both adults and children. They have been exposed to other dogs, cats and new environments. He is one of the middle puppies in size and temperament. The only black male, he is a little shy and mellow. His sisters like to boss him around. |

Clove is the puppy who will instigate trouble then run away and hide when discovered. He needs a family that is willing to commit to raising and training a puppy. The cool thing about puppies is they are yours to mold – you can socialize them and make them everything you imagine.
