Adoption Requirements: • You must be 21 years of age • All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information) • We do not place female boxers with other female dogs • Attendance at a professionally run obedience course is a requirement of adoption! • We do not adopt out dogs as gifts • All pets are family companions! |

Calypso is a sweet brindle female boxer - she was bred then abandon in a local shelter. Her pups were kept and sold however - except for the one that the owner will keep to bred, then ditch in the shelter when the next litter is born. It is so sad what these dogs are subjected to so "breeders" can make money selling puppies and abandoning dogs. By the time she was brought to us she was severely underweight, covered with fleas and ticks and infested with worms. A vet appointment, health screening, deworming and flea dip with a full groom has set Calypso back on the path to a clean bill of health! Even with her history of use and abuse, all Calypso wants is love. Her little nub wiggles 100 miles an hour anytime someone even looks at her. As you touch and pet her, the wiggle travels up her behind until her entire body is wiggling! |
