10/11/07 We want to inform you of our family's recent move to Albuquerque, New Mexico. We have come into possession of the family home and couldn't pass up this wonderful opportunity to live in it! It is a dream come true! We got our miniature poodle, Buddy (used to be Bernie, One-Eyed Jack's father) from you in April 2007. We had to change his name to Buddy because he is our sweet little companion, our "buddy". We completed the Life Skills Training Course at the Canine Club in June. Buddy has grown to be a close knit part of our family. We all love him and can't imagine life without him. He has blossomed into showing us his playful, fun loving nature and loves to go on walks, play tug-of-war and fetch and does fun tricks for treats! He is very well behaved and we are all proud at how far he has come since we brought home the shy, scared little dog that didn't play at all. Thank you for all you do in Rescuing and finding loving homes for your dogs. Hope you continue to do well. The Arrington family |
Adoption Requirements: • You must be 21 years of age • All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information) • We do not place female boxers with other female dogs • We do not adopt out dogs as gifts • All pets are family companions! |

For those of you who are familiar with our organization this face might look familiar. Bernie is “One-Eyed Jack’s” father! However, as time has passed us all by, Jack has gotten his forever home and his father waits patiently. Bernie is the perfect little dog. He’s great with children, all dogs, and even cats!
