Azul is doing better, she went to the vet and she is at 53 pounds and all muscle. The vet said her and Bo are beautiful dogs. She is still staying in a crate when I leave. I worked nights so I was home in the daytime. I got laid off so they have been spoiled to go out and do things. She is very beautiful now. Her fur is sleek and shinny. She is muscled up too. I also fell in love with Florin that American Bulldog she looks like Bo. She is a beauty. I will bring Azul by sometime to say HI!! She loves to go.
Thank you,

Thank you very much,
Our Azul is doing fine. Still dingy though, she likes to run out the door , but I do not chase her I give her a few and she come's back home. She thinks it is cute to jump over my feet and legs and run out door, she has done this few times with the kids. I put her in that crate when kids are coming in and out all day!! Got to love Azul though.
Thanks,
The Calhouns

Azul is doing fine. I took her out for a walk to the park. She is digging holes so we fixed that to stop her from getting out. She is register with Washoe County Animal Services too. Azul and Bo are doing great together. Azul hid her bone and Bo found it. They are eating and drinking from the same bowl. Bo shares with her. Azul is a high jumper, she runs thru the house and hides then jumps over the loveseat and jumps on Bo. Her coat is nice and shiny. You will see her when we come to trainig I have been working alot and its hot. I am glad we have her. She was a good choice, its not always about the dog you want but the one that fits with the family and does well. Like her.

AZUL is doing fine, She has pead in floor in small spots a couple of times even though we let her out and back in she still does it. we watch her closely and when she does this we put her out , she has not went in the house in 2 days now. She likes to also lay with us in bed or the floor, when she wetted the floor she was not allowed to lay in the bed. I buy them toys and they love to chew them up. jake wants to do trainig with me and Azul so he will come home August 20 so I said he could because he is excited about Azul. Bo has learn to share he does not snap or bite at her. Bo has been great with her. Azuls barking is fine, now its the neighbors dogs that bark all the time. We work hard with her. We do not get mad when she does things due to she lived in a kennel and you have to work with her, like she chewed our remote up but Wal Mart had one, we just tell her no and keep a close eye on her. She is new to this life and has to adjust without the worrying, my husband opened the front door and she ran out and he calmly got her back, Bo does not do that, azul is very excited about things. Right now Azul is sleeping. Azul has alot of love to offer and we have love to give her. Thank you kindly, Regina Calhoun

Azul is doing fine she barked at herself in the mirror, I would like to get a schedule of training after July 4th , I can come on Saturdays, Azul needs some training like barking and jumping at the fence. She can bark and likes to bounce off fence , I will be home today except about 30 minutes I will be gone I have to run and pay a bill I am going to work a little with her.
She chews and things and I tell her no once. But she is puppy and they do chew. We love having her and she is a great addition to our family. Her and Bo played all night. I got up at 2:30 to let them to go to bathroom. Azul and Bo laid by our bed all night. She is a blessing to our family and we will work with all issues with her, and make sure she is safe and taken care of.
People are asking where we got her and whats the cost. I tell them and they freak out and I said your saving 2 dogs the one you adopt and a new one that needs care. I think the program is Great. The dogs get a chance to find a home and I look forward to training to learn new things to keep our new dog safe.

Azul is Spanish for the word "blue". Azul got her name because she is a Blue Doberman and either Catahoula or Cattledog mix. She is a bundle of excitement and energy - and her whole goal in life is to please you.
She LOVES LOVES LOVES play and would really like a family that very active and outdoorsy or has other dogs for her to play with. When you look at Azul it's a trigger for Azul to wiggle her butt as fast as possible. Petting her causes full body wiggles. She loves everyone and everything.
She is so small that we thought she was a puppy when we pulled her from the shelter. It wasn't until we did her physical that we realized she was over a year old. She is a great dog in a compact package. At 40ish pounds you have a dog that doesn't take up a lot of space but is big enough to go on runs or camping.
If you're looking for a lot of personality in a little package, Azul is the dog for you.
