Poor Athena was dumped in the shelter when her owners decided that they didn't have time for her anymore. She was so scared she wouldn't eat - she just stood in the corner of her kennel and shook. Being a typical boxer, Athena loves people. She likes to pretend she's a lap dog, and although she is big for a female boxer, she does her very best to snuggle right into your lap. Athena needs a calm home to adjust to her new surroundings - she is nervous and has had a traumatic couple of weeks, but we're confident that this boxer beauty will come out of her shell and make a wonderful family companion. |
