What kind of cruel, heartless and evil person dumps a dog they’ve had for 12 years in a shelter to die? Finnegan is a 12 year old boxer abandoned in the Elko shelter. Finnegan has a heart condition that prevented him from being put under anesthesia for his neuter, but luckily enough for us, he is a well-mannered gentleman.

We are looking for permanent hospice care for Finnegan. NO DOG deserves to die cold, scared and along in a shelter. Finnegan committed no crime. He didn’t run away, he wasn’t a bad dog, he didn’t bite anyone. He just wasn’t wanted anymore.

It takes a special person to take in a senior dog, but we know there are people out there that will look into Finnegan’s eyes and love him for the rest of his life.
