Asiago is a pomeranian mix, about 5 years old, he is cuddly and mellow. Asiago came to us from a high-kill shelter. His fur was horribly matted and, when we shaved him the night after picking him up, we found that he was inundated with fox tails. Fox tails work their way through a dog’s fur and into their skin. The fox tails can actually work all the way into the dogs body and internal organs – causing untold damage. Through his shaving, the removal of the fox tails and the pain they cause, Asiago has been a perfect gentleman.
